Sound-singing procession of the Aurora on the day of the 100th anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution
In October 25, 1917 in Russia there was the first in the world Socialist Revolution. According to the mythology established in Soviet times, on the Neva River the Aurora cruiser gave a blank shot as the signal to storm the Winter Palace in Petrograd. In Roman mythology Aurora was the goddess of the morning dawn, bringing daylight to the gods and people.
"A spectre is haunting Europe - the spectre of communism." These words by Karl Marx are as relevant today as ever.
This shot marked the birth of the idea of a future World Revolution. Despite the fact that today we are far from universal equality and brotherhood, the utopia of building Communism in the whole world is needed by modern humanity as never before! After all, fearing for their present, people abandon the future.
Therefore, exactly 100 years later, on October 25, 2017, as a sign of memory of the world's first socialist revolution, our artistic cooperative from the city of the 3 revolutions will pass through the streets of the city of Tromsø with the model of the cruiser Aurora, welcoming the Norwegians workers with revolutionary marches and work songs.
